Shirley Ann Gregory

Shirley was born December 13, 1935, and passed from this life August 3, 2023, at the age of 87. She was a long-time resident of Memphis and Whiteville, TN and recently moved to Fort Gibson, OK. She developed a brain tumor and was confined to home for some time, but was able to stay home until her passing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alton and Essie Jones and 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Wayne Gregory; 5 children, Kenneth Gregory (Chris), Connie Bowen, Janet Stacks (Tommy), Katrina Russell (Dave), Timothy Gregory (Anne); one sister, Pat Godwin; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Shirley was a Christian all of her adult life and attended worship faithfully. She was always involved in the Lord’s work, teaching, evangelism, visiting, and benevolence.

In lieu of flowers it is requested that donations be sent to Memphis School of Preaching in her memory.

Graveside services will be on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery at 12:30 pm with Tommy Stacks officiating.
