Scott Harbaugh was born on December 28th, 1965 in Joplin, MO, the son of William “Ed” Edward and Pattsy (Moseby) Harbaugh. He grew up with two brothers and three sisters. On October 31st, 1988, Scott married the love of his life and his best friend, Rhonda Botkin in Tulsa, OK. Their marriage was a testimony of love for over 34 years, and together they raised two sons and one daughter, David, Scotty, and Michelle. Scott made a living as a Servo analyst, working with Baldor Electric for over 23 years. He enjoyed working for his Baldor dad, Michael Kunde, and was faithful, professional and always ready to lend a helping hand wherever he was needed. Scott was the kind of friend that everyone wanted on their side. Patient, and kind, with a wonderful sense of humor. Whenever he wasn’t working, he loved the outdoors and hunting or fishing. He took great pride in his bass tournament fishing skills. He enjoyed the occasional night out to a comedy club. The best part of Scotts life was his love and devotion to his family. He was a foster parent for over 9 years, but they were always Scott’s kids. He was a loving son, husband, father, and “Papa.” A Christian by faith, the Lord called this good and faithful servant home from his labors on May 19th, 2017 surrounded by the loving family that he adored. Scott was 51 years old. He leaves a void that can never be filled. Scott is preceded in death by his grandparents and his father. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of the home, Rhonda Harbaugh of Tahlequah, OK. He leaves his children, David Harbaugh and wife Miranda of Westville, OK, Scotty Villines and wife Angel of Tulsa, OK, and Michelle Dawn Rodgers and husband Travis of Tahlequah, OK. He leaves two brothers and three sisters, Ed Harbaugh and wife Michelle, and Rick Cassidy and wife Mary all of Tulsa, Michelle Sanders and husband Robert of Lawton, OK, Patty Carlson of Tulsa, OK, and Sherry Villines also of Tulsa. Scott lives on in his five grandchildren, Ashton Thurman, Tyler Thurman, Kylah Rodgers, Emma Harbaugh, Emilia Harbaugh, and awaiting the arrival of Zeek Villines, one nephew Kody Venable as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.
