He attended school and then graduated from Northeastern State University with his Bachelor’s degree. He earned his living as a police officer for the city of Tahlequah and later as truck driver in the transportation industry. When the work was done, it was time to ride his Harley. Rickie enjoyed working on old cars, playing a game of pool with friends, and could tell the best stories ever. He had a story for every occasion. His family was a great source of happiness for Rickie and he never missed the chance to spend time with them. He adored his children, and was the proud father of three sons and three daughters. He married the love of his life, Kimberly Berry on August 12th, 2000 in Eureka Springs, AR, and together they enjoyed close to seventeen years of memories. He was the proud grandpa of thirteen grandchildren and was anxious for the two new arrivals. He was content to enjoy each new day as he found it, and did so with a big grin on his face. As much as he enjoyed life, his was to end on June 18th, 2017 in Tahlequah, OK. He was 59 years old. He leaves a void that will never be filled.
