Matthew Dylan Lucht, 24 passed away July 12th, 2024 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He was born July 4th, 2000 in Jeffersonville, Indiana. The son of Dylan Lucht and Kristi Matlock and the brother of Kilea Lucht.
Matthew graduated from Fort Gibson High School in 2019. Following graduation he also graduated from Indian Capital Technology Center with an electrician’s license. He was currently working construction. Growing up, Matthew participated in multiple little league sports including soccer, flag football and baseball. He also played in High School. Matthew and his sister Kilea were thick as thieves and there is nothing that they wouldn’t do for each other. They shared a bond like no other brother and sister have ever shared. He would always make Kilea make him a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. He was her biggest cheerleader no matter what she was doing from softball all the way to cheerleading. Matthew enjoyed skateboarding with his cousins Riley and Luke. He also liked spending his time at the lake and jumping off the bluffs. Matthew was also an avid video gamer and tech deck player. His love of video games started at just 3 years old. Matthew also taught himself how to play the guitar. His mom’s favorite song for him to play was Yellow Ledbetter by Pearl Jam. His smile and laugh were contagious. And there isn’t anything he wouldn’t do for his friends. He enjoyed playing and visiting with the “littles” aka his cousins. He would carry them around wherever they wanted to go. Matthew instantly clicked with Kate Deason after they started working at the same gas station. They eventually started dating and moved to Mustang, OK. They shared many key moments and loved traveling together. Matt was a better person when he was with her and he loved and adored Kate with all his heart. Matthew also had a love of tattoos that just kept growing from his very first one.
