Though your time with us was brief, your impact on our lives will be forever felt. Mateo, you were a precious gift, a shining light that illuminated our world for nine precious days. Born on December 10, 2024, you brought immense joy to your family and all who met you. Your tiny hands and feet, your first cries and cuddles, are etched in our memories forever. You are survived by your loving parents, Elio Valderramos Herrera and Nikki Nunez Varela (Drywater); your brother, Dean Rafael Nunez Varela; your great- grandmother, Akie Gourd; grandfather, Elvin "Bossie" Drywater and partner Rhea Bearbow; your maternal grandmother; Cynthia Barnes; your paternal grandmother, Keydi Herrera; your great-aunt, Lynn McCully; and your extended family, who all cherish the memories of the time we had with you. Your life may have been short, but your love and legacy will live on in our hearts.

We will miss you more than words can express, but we take comfort in the knowledge that you are now at peace, wrapped in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father; as well as your great-grandfather, Pumpkin Drywater; great-uncle, Philip "Bodie" Drywater; your great-aunt, Brenda Daniels; and your aunt, Kristy Vann.

A graveside service will be held to celebrate your life on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Agent Cemetery in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, with Pastor Jason Gann officiating. Rest in peace, little one. Your life was a gift, and we will never forget you.
