Linnie Mae (Tipton) Keith

Our beloved wife and mother, Linnie Mae Tipton Keith, 90, of Siloam Springs, AR, passed away October 22, 2023, peacefully at home with her beloved husband, and their children and family at her side. Early that afternoon, she “went home” and the sky was filled with a beautiful sunset. A perfect finish for a Blessed life.

Born September 2, 1933, to Noah and Bessie (Dodd) Tipton in Tahlequah, OK. She grew up with two siblings, older sister Faye and younger brother, Roy, working on the family farm, and having fun with cousins and neighbors.

Early in life, Linnie met the love of her life, Eugene Keith, her partner in life. They were married July 8, 1950, in Tahlequah, OK after dating two years, followed by the most beautiful love story, seldom experienced in life.

Linnie was a hard worker, as she and Eugene built a successful flooring business and worked side by side for over 50 years. She was a resilient figure in the face of adversity and a person who provided a spunky, determined, empowered love and a stable, secure life for her family. Linnie had an unassuming and disarming smile that could put anyone at ease. She could find the silver lining to keep pushing forward in any situation. Linnie was so special. She represented the good that we all need every day in our lives. She was one of the select few who could rise to meet challenges with a smile. Linnie affectionately, unconditionally, and unselfishly loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

They moved to Siloam Springs, AR in 1980 and reopened their successful 101 Floorcovering store for another 30 years, then completely retired to enjoy their life on their small farm in Siloam Springs, surrounded by family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Linnie was predeceased by her sister, Eunia Faye Tipton Hazelwood (2021).

She is survived and will be dearly missed by her loving husband, Eugene of 73 years; their son, Rickey Keith, and wife Deborah of Colcord, OK, their daughter, Donna Schultz and husband, Keith of Colcord, OK, her brother-in-law, Roger Keith of Siloam Springs, AR, as well as five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren. One sibling, Roy F Tipton of Tahlequah, OK, with several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Funeral Service will be held to celebrate Linnie’s life on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Reed-Culver Chapel with Pastor Rob Pierce officiating.

Serving as pallbearers are Caleb Schultz, Seth Schultz, Nathan Weeks, Travis Luper, CJ Ford, Rickey Keith, and Roger Keith as honorary pallbearer.
