Linda Ann Dreadfulwater was born on December 12th, 1954 in Tahlequah, OK, the daughter of Jacob and Anna Mae Wilson (Masters) Pritchett. She grew up in a household that boasted four brothers and six sisters. She married Carl Dreadfulwater, and together they raised two sons and two daughters. Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She had a warm smile and a large heart. She was always looking to the need of others before her own. She would carry on a conversation with anyone that would talk. She was a faithful member of the New Jordan Baptist Church and enjoyed every opportunity to attend and time spent in the company of family and friends. Depending on the weather, you would find Linda outside enjoying nature, sewing blankets, heading to a game of Bingo, or watching her grandchildren in their many activities. When the weather got cold, Linda would pull out her jigsaw puzzles or start on her kanuchi. She turned all her efforts into making her house a home for her family and the many people that needed a home. Linda was like a second mom to many. She was very proud of being a member of the United Keetoowah Band. She raised her children to be proud of who they are as well. Linda left this world on Sunday, November 16th, 2014 in Chouteau with her loved ones by her side to send her on. She leaves an empty space that no one else can ever fill.
Linda has gone on to join her beloved parents, one brother, Drew Pritchett, and her five sisters, Darlene Murphy, Sandra Cypress, Carmen Masters, Connie Pritchett, and Gina Pritchett; one nephew, Thomas "Hulk" Barnes, and two great nieces, Patricia and Randy McClendon.
