Coppell, TX- Funeral services for Leslie Danette (Waters) Kilpatrick will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Hulbert with Pastor Gary Carey officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Hulbert, OK. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at Reed- Culver Funeral home from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM.
Pallbearers for Leslie include David Ledbetter, Roger Farmer, Lonnie McClure, Jim Morgan, David Stauss, and Rick Hamm. Honorary pallbearers will be shorty McClure, Jos McClure, Jeremy Boston, James Morgan, Justin Farmer, and Josh masters.
Leslie Danette Kilpatrick was born on April 11, 1974 in Tahlequah, OK the daughter of Larry and Wanda ( Farmer-Johnson) Waters. She attended school in Hulbert, OK, graduating in 1992. On March 13, 1992, she married the love of her life, Robert Dee Kilpatrick in Hulbert, OK. This union was blessed with nineteen years and three children. Leslie was a homemaker who loved nothing more than caring for her husband, children, and her very special grand daughter, Rylie. Leslie enjoyed spending time at the sporting events her children participated in and keeping up with the kids and their friends, who often called her “Mom”. She loved working in her flower garden and keeping her Tahoe spotless, until her illness made it too difficult to do She also loved her dogs, especially her special baby, “Little Man” . Leslie was caring, thoughtful and kind, which is why she made friends easily and knew very few strangers. She was happiest spending time with her family and friends. She was a Baptist by faith. She always made time for her special nephew, Kristopher Glenn. The Lord called Leslie to her eternal home on February 11, 2011 in Coppell, TX with her family at her side. She was thirty-six years old.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ross and Betsy Farmer as well as two uncles and one aunt.
Survivors include her devoted husband, Robert of the home in Cappell, TX, three loving children, Kendra Kilpatrick and companion Ryan Camp , Kyle Kilpatrick, and Kory Kilpatrick all of the home in Cappell, TX. She is survived by her mother, Wanda Johnson and husband Ronnie of Hulbert, OK, her father, Larry Waters and wife Kathy of Hot Springs, AR, two brothers, Kevin Glenn and Greg Glenn and companion Stephenie Thouvnel all of Hulbert, OK. She will be remembered by her grandmothers, Sue Farmer of Tahlequah, OK and Ruth Ann Waters of Norman, OK, a special nephew, Kristopher Glenn of Hulbert, OK, and her adored granddaughter, Rylie Camp of Coppell, TX as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends .
