Leonard Earl “Cobb” Trammel was born on May 10th, 1944 in Tahlequah, OK, the son of Marion Francis and Tercie Green (Elkins) Trammel. After finishing high school, Cobb went to work for the Missouri Pacific Rail Road as a welder on the rail lines. On March, 20th, 1965, he married Wanda Sue Trammel in Adair County , and together they raised two sons, Randy and Bobby. When Cobb wasn’t working, he enjoyed spending the afternoon at the races watching the horses run. There was always time to go do a little hunting or fishing, and bull riding was always a welcome activity for the afternoon. He was very proud of his seven grandchildren, Eli, Kaylee, Allison, Emily, Ethan, Adam, and Ashley, and enjoyed keeping up with all of their activities. After Wanda passed, Cobb began socializing with his many friends at Senior Citizens and loved to go dancing and charm the ladies with his style. Every chance he got together with his family and friends was a fun time for all. He loved to share a meal, a cup of coffee and a good story or two. The Lord called Cobb home from his earthly labors on August 6th, 2014 in Tahlequah, OK with his family by his side. Cobb was 70 years old. He will be greatly missed by his many friends and family.
