Calvin Hulsey was born on January 31st, 1991 in Stilwell, OK, the son of Leonard Calvin Hulsey Jr. and Tomika Dawn Walkingstick. Calvin resided in the Shady Grove area and worked at “The Branch” in Tahlequah and the supply department at Cherokee Nation Hastings Hospital. Calvin loved both his jobs and all of the people that he worked with. In Calvin’s spare time, he loved to spend time with his family, his friends and his children. He enjoyed playing basketball, playing video games and watching movies. He was a very patient young man that loved children. He possessed a wonderful sense of humor and only wanted to see people happy. Calvin was the most caring person you were likely to meet. It took so little to make him happy, the simple things in life was all he needed to be content. He was so very proud of his children and being a daddy was the greatest joy of his life. Calvin passed from this life on Saturday, May 3rd, 2014 at his home in Hulbert, OK. Calvin was 23 years old. His laughter, his silliness and his way of always being there for his family and friends will be greatly missed.
