Katherine Renette “Kathy” Parker was born on August, 12th, 1970, in Muskogee, OK, the daughter of Wayne and Ina (Burgess) Rider. She attended school and graduated from Hulbert high school. She met and married Roger Parker and together they raised a family of six sons and five daughters, their pride and joy. Kathy was first and foremost a devoted wife, mother grandmother and friend. She was quite the cook and even worked for 13 years cooking delicious meals at the school. There was a little free time and she used it to help her children with their show animals, attending the livestock shows, chasing her dogs around the yard, and spending time with the family she loved so much. She would occasionally go do a little shopping. She had a beautiful smile and a heart that loved everyone around her. She was kind and always looking to help someone else. She didn’t know many strangers, but spoke to everyone. She was proud of her children and all their accomplishments, and was always the first to show her love and support in all they did. Kathy became ill, but did her very best to stay close to the family she adored. A Christian by faith, the Lord called this hard working and loving woman home from her labors and Heaven gained the most beautiful angel on December 31st, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. She was 47 years old. She leaves a void that will never be filled.
She is preceded in death by her mother, father, and her grandparents.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Roger of the home and her children, Natalie Nicole Parker, Tye Russell Parker, Beau Austin Parker, Duke Wayne Parker, Brandy May Parker, Luke Allen Parker, Ivy Rennette Parker all of home, Kinzy Rachell Scott and husband Gary of Tahlequah, Kendall Kilpatrick and companion Christina Griffith, Amanda Parker, Jason Parker and two kids by heart, Cheyenne Haner and Bryan Haner all of Hulbert. Her brothers and sisters include Thersa Rider-Rahmani and husband Sam of Las Vegas, NV, Kenneth Rider of Muskogee, Brad Rider of Muskogee, Tammy Turney and husband Lon of Muskogee, Lori Jorgenson and Joni Rider also of Muskogee.
