Tahlequah, OK- Memorial services for Julie Ann Graham will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday July 5th, 2012 at the Tahlequah City Cemetery Gazebo. Visitation for Julie will be on Monday, July 2, 2012, 12:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Reed Culver Funeral Home in Tahlequah. Services are under the direction of Reed-Culver Funeral Home of Tahlequah.
Julie Graham was born on March 22, 1941 in Welling, OK the daughter of Joseph and Nannie (Whittmire) Graham. Julie grew up in the Tahlequah area and attended Tahlequah High School graduating with the class of 1959. She was a lifelong friend to the animals and especially loved cats. Julie was fun and energetic and had a youthful spirit. She very much enjoyed reading murder mysteries and horror stories, especially those written by Stephen King. When it came to listening to music, Julie was a big fan of the Heavy Metal sound. Julie was also the long time owner of Jerry’s Place, a local Tahlequah restaurant located on Muskogee Ave. in downtown Tahlequah. Julie had a soft heart for people in need and would never turn a hungry soul away. Julie passed away on June 28, 2012 in Tulsa, OK, she was 71 years old. Julie is preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Dennis Berry Graham.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son Michael Graham of the home, a brother Daniel Graham of Tahlequah, and a nephew Mike Graham of Woodall, OK.
