Jonathan Nofire was born on Sunday, June 20th, 1982 in Tahlequah, OK, the son of Maxie Wayne and Ruby Ann (Eagle) Nofire. He grew up with his brother Jake, and five sisters, Girlie, Murphy, Lana, Rayna, and Cheryl. He attended Tahlequah High School. He also attended Northeastern State University, where he majored in psychology. He liked reading, music, going fishing, playing basketball, and loved shouting at the TV during OU football games. Johnathan was friendly and funny. He had the ability to make you laugh in one sentence, gave the kids silly nicknames, told the scariest stories, but loved to make people laugh. He loved to travel and experience life for himself, but made it a point to find his way back home to the ones he loved. He finally ventured out to North Dakota, where he found love with Sara Lewis.
He is preceded in death by mother Ruby Ann Eagle and Father, Maxie Wayne Nofire. Also his grandmother, Louise Nofire and Maternal Grandparents, Luther Eagle and Joann (Cochran) Smith.
Those left to cherish his memory include his three children, Jonathan, Emmaline, and Josiah Nofire, whom he loved very much. Two brothers, Jacob Nofire and Max Nofire, 7 sisters, Clarissa Eagle and Husband Marcus Thompson, Deanna Nofire, Delana Nofire, Rayna Eagle-Hogner, Cheryl Dreadfulwater, Lorraine Nofire, and Beth Nofire, and his only living duda, Jerry Nofire. Nieces and Nephews, Mark Thompson, Tracey Eagle, Dale Eagle, Darren Eagle, Devren Eagle, Katie Eagle, Brandon Eagle, Robert Nofire, Makayla Nofire, Rhianna Nofire, Cassie Nofire, Brianna Clayton, Braxton Clayton, Havoc Washee, Cole Hogner II, Rylan Hogner, Lilyanna Hillier, Kassidy Dreadfulwater, Rubyanna Dreadfulwater, Chaven Nofire, Jaylee McCool, AnnStasia McDonald, Travion McDonald, Valerie Nofire, Great niece, Aniyah Eagle, and great nephew Kason Sands, as well as many more cousins, family, friends and loved one.
