This is a love story between two people that stood the test of time. The first party was born on January 25th, 1979 in Panama City, FL, and was named John T. Thompson, or ”Lil John”. He had five brothers and four sisters, Terry Thompson, Dan Calhoon, Joe Calhoon, John Calhoon, Jayden Thompson, Heavyn Thompson, Truly Thompson, Joann Bogle, and Natalina Vaughn, and grew up around Salina and Tahlequah, attending school in Tahlequah. He loved drawing, working at Sonic, camping in the great outdoors, and being with his family first and foremost. He was definitely his own person. Yet John was missing the one important part of his life, his soul mate.
Tiffany Chantel Haddock was born on June 27th, 1985 in Tahlequah, OK, the daughter of Carl and Josephine (Biggs) Haddock. She grew up in Moodys, OK, an only child. She attended school in Lowrey School and graduated from Tahlequah High School. Growing up, she enjoyed many days at her grandparents’ house, playing games with her cousins, and spending time with the grandmother she idolized. She loved to cook, especially baking, and her famous light-as-air cinnamon rolls were a real treat. Tiffany shared her beautiful smile with everyone. She was loving, sweet and outgoing, loved spending time with her family. There was always something missing though.
It was while working at Sonic that these two souls made the forever connection. It was truly love at first sight. On May 27th, 2007, they made it official and became Mr. John T. and Mrs. Tiffany C. Thompson. There never was a happier couple. They made you happy just to be around them because of all the love they had for one another. They liked a little time spent at the casino and just relaxing at the river.
Whatever they did, they did it together. For all the plans they had for the future, it all came to an end on October 18th, 2023, with a sad moment in time, that stopped two lovers from any further dreams.
John is preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Grace (Parsons) Thompson, his parents, one brother, Terry Neal Thompson, and his beloved, Tiffany Thompson.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Dan Calhoon, Joe Calhoon of Tahlequah, John Calhoon and wife Jonnie of Chewey, OK, Jayden Thompson of Tahlequah, Heavyn Thompson of Tahlequah, Truly Thompson and companion Jerry Wing of Park Hill, OK, JoAnn Bogle and husband Tim of Tahlequah and Natalia Dewees -Vaughn of Tahlequah, and step mother, Janna Thompson of Tahlequah.
Tiffany is preceded in death by her grandparents, J.A. and Beulah Haddock, and Luther and Etta Biggs, her mother and father, and her beloved husband John Thompson.
She leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins too numerous to mention.
The stars at night are now watched by these two, alone on a quiet hill, just the two of them, where no one can disrupt their laughter, and their perfect happiness, just the two of them, forever.
There will be a public visitation for John T. and his wife, Tiffany Chantel (Haddock) Thompson on Tuesday, October 31st, 2023 beginning at 12:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Reed-Culver Funeral Home. The families will have private services at a later date.
