John Fred Robison was born on November 19th, 1975, in Tahlequah, OK, the son of John Fred Robison and Mary Ella Trammel. John was lucky enough to have a bonus mom Freda Medlin, she was a large part of his upbringing. He grew up with four brothers and four sisters, Mike, Glenn Dale, Colt, Stoney, Arial, Sunny, Jessica and Janessa. From early childhood, John loved sports, from wrestling to rodeo to skateboarding, John loved it all. He loved Sunday dinners at Granny Trammels house, playing football with his cousins. In his later years, he moved to sports with a little less contact like throwing horseshoes, or maybe a little fishing. He worked in the construction industry, which included carpentry and flipping houses. He was extremely talented in carpentry. He adored any time spent with his family and especially his boys, grandchildren, and his nieces and nephews. He was always the good friend you could rely upon, with the infectious smile that made you feel like you had known him all of your life. He had a heart that was bigger than the backyard, and he helped anywhere he could, in any way possible. He always made the people around him laugh, it was his way of sharing love, and it did this well. For all the plans he had for the future, he passed from this life on October 6th, 2022 at the age of 46. He will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack and Mary Trammel, Dale and Mildred Robison along with his mother and father, John Fred Robison and Mary Ella Trammel.
Those left to cherish his memory include four sons, Damon McGinnis and wife Madison of Tahlequah, Brodee Dale Robison-Correa, Gatlin Joe Robison-Correa, of Fort Gibson, and Jerry Robison-Gordon of Las Vegas, NV. He leaves four sisters, Ariel Robison of Tahlequah, Sunny Robison of Tahlequah, Jessica Calcote and husband Laramie of Hulbert and Janessa Walters all of Tahlequah. He will live on in his two adored grandchildren, Ellie Marie McGinnis and Rhett Garner McGinnis, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones too numerous to mention.
