Ruby Jean Spencer, of Jeannie to her family and friends, was born on Wednesday, August 12th, 1953 in Shady Grove, OK, the daughter of Earl Jim and Altha (Hubbard) Spencer. She was raised in a large family of seven brothers and five sisters, attending grade school in Peggs and graduating from Tahlequah High School. Theirs was a close and loving family, even a little competitive when it came to card games and dominos. Jeannie loved the out doors, every chance she got she was watching the birds at her bird feeder, gardening, or enjoying a day in the sunshine, fishing with her family. She was a waitress by profession, and always made people feel that they were important. She had an easy smile and was the kind of person you felt you had known for years. She was an accomplished cook and loved cooking dinner for her family to enjoy. The most important part of her life was her son Randy and daughter Danielle. Her grandchildren were loved and adored, and she was their biggest supporter. Grace, Emma, Kate and Josie were her pride and joy. A Christian by faith, she was a member of the Double Springs Church of God. For as much as she loved life and her family, the Lord called this good and faithful servant home from her labors on Friday, February 1st, 2019 in Hutchinson , KS with her family at her side. She was 65 years old. She will be greatly missed for all her love and kindness.
Jeannie is preceded in death by her mother, father, three brothers, Carl Spencer, Jerry Spencer, and Earl Ray Spencer, and a sister, Helen Moore Spencer.
