Jacob Leigh Reynolds was born in Tahlequah, OK on February 28, 1989, to Mary Kathleen Reynolds. He was raised in Hulbert, OK with two brothers Thomas Reynolds and Jeremy Reynolds. He graduated from Hulbert High School in 2007. He began his college education at Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence Kansas then continued at Northeastern University majoring in journalism.
He had a love of music and wrote his own songs to express both the joys and struggles in his life. In addition to his music, he loved sports especially basketball, reading and spending time with his family. Jacob was free spirited and loved to be around people. He had a big heart, never met a stranger and never had anything bad to say about anyone. Jacob loved clothes and shoes and was always photogenic.
Jacob started attending Freedom Fellowship Church in Hulbert, OK with his son and family. He is preceded in death by his Granny Billie Reynolds, and one Cousin James David Reynolds.
Those left to cherish his memories include his sons Kenan Leigh Reynolds and his Mother Anna Michelle Reynolds and Miles Lee Reynolds and his Mother Jamie Johnson of Tahlequah. His Mother Mary Reynolds and Stepfather Tim Hess of Muskogee, OK. Brothers Thomas Reynolds and Jeremy Reynolds and wife Molly of Muskogee, OK. He also leaves behind his Grandfather Freddie Lee Reynolds of Fort Gibson, OK. Three Aunts: Katie Reynolds of Fort Gibson, OK, Kim Martinez of Memphis, TN, and Monica Spangler and Husband Alan of Pocola, OK. Two Uncles: Jason Reynolds of Fort Worth, TX and Justin Reynolds and wife Michelle of Tulsa, OK.
He will be lovingly remembered by his cousins: Joshua Reynolds, Autumn Reynolds, Rachel Spangler, William Garcia, Jose Reynolds, Esmeralda Garcia, Anthony Reynolds and Addison Reynolds. Two nephews Jayden Reynolds and Zoran Reynolds. As well as a host of friends and other family members. Jacob was loved by many who knew him and will be missed dearly.
Funeral services for Jacob Leigh Reynolds will be conducted on Tuesday, January 7th, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Reed-Culver Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Pettit officiating. His family will receive visitors on Monday, January 6th, 2025 from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Reed-Culver. He will be laid to rest at Citizens Cemetery at Ft. Gibson, OK.
