Donna was born to George Oxford and Eva Mae (Peoples) Oxford on August 21st, 1961, in Skiatook, Oklahoma. Donna lived a full life and was raised with one brother Ronnie Oxford and two sisters Lora Oxford and Ellen Larsen. As a child Donna fondly remembered family get-togethers and enjoyed family time. She graduated from Tahlequah high school in 1979 and developed strong family values and a deep love for others that would define her life.
Donna was a faithful attendee of The Kingdom Hall church in Keys, Oklahoma. Donna's faith guided her throughout her life. Donna's love for others was evident in her warm hospitality and caring Spirit. Always inviting family, friends and even strangers to share in her holiday dinners. Christmas was her favorite holiday, and her home was always filled with love, laughter and delicious food. Donna loved crocheting, music, fishing, watching TV, gardening and spending time on her front porch with family and friends. Donna's legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched. Her generosity, kindness and love for others inspired everyone around her. She never met a stranger, and her porch was always open to friends and neighbors who wanted to chat or just share stories.
Donna is preceded in death by her father George Oxford; two sisters, Lora Oxford and Ellen Larsen. Those left to carry on her legacy include her mother Eva Mae (Peoples) Oxford of Peggs, Oklahoma, three sons, Christopher Coursey and wife Tera of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Casey Coursey and wife Shellie of Peggs, Oklahoma, and Henry Coursey of the home. One brother, Ronnie Oxford and wife Teresa of Peggs, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Dallas, Dustin, Marshall, Jarred, Hayley, and Logan; three great grandchildren, Tommy, Tinley, and Magdalene; and several nieces and nephews. Donna leaves behind a loving family that will forever cherish her memory. Rest in peace Donna, your love, kindness and legacy will never be forgotten...
Donna will be laid to rest in Our Hearts Forever.
