Donald W. Hutson

Tahlequah, OK Memorial services for Donald Hutson will be held on Monday, February 27, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Reed-Culver Funeral Home with Tom Lewis officiating. Interment will take place in Natchez, LA at a later time.

Donald Wayne Hutson was born on March 12, 1948 in Okmulgee,OK the son of Harold and Geraldine (Tinney) Hutson. He attended school and graduated high school. Donald, or Don to his friends, had a true entrepreneurial spirit. He was successful at electronic repairs and versatile enough to own and operate a restaurant. He was a patriot at heart. A determined spirit , independent yet strangely quiet and thoughtful. He had empathy for his fellow travelers on the path of life. Don knew the value of a good book and recommended reading to anyone he met. He was a father who adored his daughter and was proud of her accomplishments. A Christian by faith, Don walked daily with the Lord to sustain him through the valley and eventually to the mountain above. Don was a strong willed man who never let adversity stop him from doing what he had to do in life. Don was called to his heavenly rest on February 15th, 2012 in Tahlequah, OK. Don was 63 years old. He will be missed by the many friends he made walking down life’s pathway.

Don is preceded in death by his mother and his father.

Don is survived by his only daughter, Donna Kay Hill of Natchez, LA, his friend, Tom Lewis of Tahlequah, and the many friends he has made in Tahlequah, as well as acquaintances in Natchez, and all over the United States.
