Dee Earldean Fordiani

Dee Earldean Fordiani was born on August 31, 1933, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Iva Mae (Hawkins) Henson. As a young child she grew up and attended school in Salinas, California. Dee graduated Salinas High School Class of 1951. She was an amazing woman and proud mother of four boys, Richard, Gary, Jim, and Don who were her source of pride and joy. Dee worked hard all her life. Like several other women in her family, Dee worked as a meat wrapper. She worked for Lucky’s Grocery Market for thirty-seven years until her retirement. Dee was the life of the party. She loved the outdoors and absolutely did not mind the heat. An ideal setting for Dee would be listening to some good ol’ Dwight Yoakam records and dancing the night away. In her youth she really enjoyed playing the card game 31 and was quite well at it. Depending on the mood, you could often find her cuddled up cozy reading crime and suspense novels, or out in the yard gardening and tending to her flowers. Watching and keeping up with Tiger Woods golfing career, solving crossword puzzles and word search books, were also among several other things that caught her attention. Thanksgiving and Christmas were her favorite time of the year. Enjoying the company of her loved ones and all the festivities that the holidays bring, Dee was always happy to have everyone home and cook a delicious meal for them during the holidays. She was a loving and kind person with a heart as big as the sky. Dee left this earthly realm on November 16th, 2024, in Muskogee, Oklahoma surrounded by loved ones. She will be deeply missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her unwavering and natured spirit.

She is preceded in death by her mother Iva Henson.

Those left to carry on her legacy include her sons, Richard Fordiani and wife Ester of California, Gary Bliss and wife Pam of Tahlequah, Jim Bliss and wife Joy of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and Don Fordiani and wife Samantha of Plano, Texas; and her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She will forever live on in our hearts forever.
