David Lyle Duvall was born on May 19th, 1951 in Hulbert, OK, the son of Fred and Mable (Stacey) Duvall. David was the baby among a household of seven children, Wanda, Dennie, Charles, Beverly, Phyllis and Carl, keeping life entertaining. He attended school at Hulbert and Tahlequah and then decided on a career in entertainment playing music with several bands. He later entered the trade as a handyman, fixing things that needed repair for everyone else. When he wasn’t working, he was enjoying music, any kind of music especially classic rock to Beethoven, In his youth, he had played in a rock band and he loved it! He was fond of fishing and loved to shoot billiards, and had the trophies to prove it. He had a great sense of humor and loved to tease and joke. David loved the chance to get together with his family to share a holiday meal or share a cup of coffee. Life wasn’t always easy for David, but it never kept the smile from his face or that signature laugh. He was the proud father of one son and two daughters, Nick, Diana and Candace. His health kept him from doing a lot of what he enjoyed later in life, but he tried his best to make each day the best it could be. He passed from this life on November 24, 2021 in Muskogee, OK at the age of 70 years.
He will be greatly missed.
David is preceded in death by his grandparents, his mother and father, his brother, Reverend Charles Duvall, and two sisters, Dennie Ashby and Wanda Duvall.
