Danielle “Dan” Alise Pidgeon began her life’s journey on May 7, 1972 in Sapulpa, OK, the daughter of Daniel James and Newanna (Hummingbird) Pidgeon. She came to the end of her journey on October 11, 2017 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 45 years.
Dan, as she was so lovingly called by her friends and family, was an amazing person that loved to be around people having a good time. She enjoyed spending her summers catching the rays at the river or attending a pow wow for a little fun. When it would get cooler, she would get all geared up for some of that wonderful BOOMER SOONER football. One of her many other activities was finding someone to go with her and spend some time on a stool at the nearest casino. Of all the things she liked to do, not many days were better spent than hanging out with friends, in person or on the beloved Facebook. Though she loved her friends and the time they spent together dearly, the true loves and joy of her life were her children and grandchildren. She could never spend too much time with them whether going to the river or searching for oldies music on You Tube from the 80’s and 90’s and forcing the kids to listen to it. Along with just setting in a room with them knowing they were safe and enjoying the occasional laugh, they are what truly brought joy to her life. Dan will be missed by all her family and friends, but her memory will always remain with them.
Those that completed the journey ahead of her include her father and one brother, Donnie Beartrack Jr.
Those left to continue the journey include her mother, Newanna Hummingbird of Tahlequah, OK; two sons, Cedric Littlecrow and Milo Pidgeon, both of the home; one daughter, Kayla Pickup, also of the home; one brother, Cody Hummingbird of Tahlequah, OK; one sister, Stevie Beartrack of Tahlequah, OK; three grandchildren, Marley, Bryson and Olivia Mitchell, all of Tahlequah, OK and one grand baby Pidgeon on the way in February as well as a host of other friends and loved ones.
