Cynthia Jo Caudill

Cynthia Jo Franks-Caudill, or C.J. to her family and friends, was born on January 4th, 1973 in Gravette, AR, the daughter of Kenneth and Thelma Lou (Mouse) Franks. She grew up with two brothers and one sister, Jon Mouse, Terry Myers and Lucas Franks. She attended school and then decided on pursuing her career as a homemaker, wife and mother. When she wasn’t chasing after her two sons, Christopher and Wiliam, she liked to write poetry. There was nothing better than a warm sunny day, at the creek, enjoying a little fishing and swimming, and listening to the radio to any number of stations. Evenings were spent curled up in the living room watching a good thriller movie, or maybe a little time at the local casino, chatting with friends and playing a few games. She liked to go out for Chinese Food, joke and tease her children and extended family, and enjoy a little cuddle time with her dog, Teddy and her two cockatiels, Loco and Lupe. Her life was happy and full. She loved any time spent with her companion, Don, just relaxing around the house and enjoying each others company. For all the dreams she had yet to pursue, she passed from this life on April 6th, 2021in Tahlequah, OK. She was 48 years old and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Joseph and Mary Franks, her maternal grandparents, James and Ester (Davis) Henson Mouse, her mother, Thelma Lou Franks, in 2007, and one brother, Billy Joe Mouse in 1966.

Those left to cherish her memory include her companion, Donald Meier of the home in Tahlequah, OK, and her two sons, Christopher James Caudill and William Andrew Caudill both of the home. She leaves her brothers and sister, Jon Mouse and wife D.D. of Tahlequah, Terri Myers and husband Roddy of Gentry, AR, and Lucas Franks of Joplin, MO. She lives on in her five grandchildren, Lana Hodges, Nevaeh Meier, Brianna Meier, Kayden Meier and Echo Hodges, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.

Graveside services for Cynthia Jo Franks-Caudill will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 2:00PM at Long Prairie Cemetery with Reverend George Cochran officiating. Pallbearers for C.J. include Travis Meier, Terry Hodges, William Caudill, Donald Meier, and Devon Koonce. Her visitation will be held on Monday, April 12th, 2021 beginning at 1:00 PM until 6:00 Pm at Reed-Culver Chapel. She will laid to rest at Long Prairie Cemetery in Kansas, OK.
