Cletus Ray Mouse will be laid to rest at Long Prairie Cemetery in Kansas, Oklahoma with Pastor George Cochran officiating. His health began to fail him and he was called home on Tuesday, April 14, 2020, at the age of 59.
Pallbearers for Cletus include: Scott Davis, Brent Davis, Brett Davis, Kevin Davis, Elias James, Alan Whaler, Derek Cochran, Derek Whaler, Leon Mouse, Kyle Mouse, Benjamin Soap, Aaron Soap, and Esamuel "Lil Man" O'field.
Cletus Ray Mouse was born March 15, 1961 in Claremore Oklahoma. After graduating from Oaks Mission High School in 1980, Cletus worked as a master auto mechanic throughout the years. He spent many years traveling and touching the hearts of the many people he met. Besides working on cars, including race cars with the cousins, he enjoyed fishing, playing Cherokee Marbles and get-togethers. He very much enjoyed spending time with family and friends, whom he visited often. He loved OSU football and bragging about them when he could. He was a member at Long Prairie Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents John Dee and Rosie Mae (Fields) Mouse, one sister, Roberta Leigh Soap and two brothers, Stephen "Archie" Floyd Mouse and John "Eddie" Edward Mouse.
He is survived by one brother, Victor Eugene Mouse of Colcord, Oklahoma, three sisters, Bertha Jo Whaler and husband Charlie Whaler of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Cleta Gay Huntley of Tahlequah, Oklahoma and Rebecca June Yahola and husband Daniel "Tony" Yahola of Lebanon, Tennessee and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
