Cherri Lynn Duncan was born on June 30th, 1971 in Claremore, OK, the daughter of Frank Ransom and Mary Ruth (Pritchett) Justice. She grew up in a household with two brothers and one sister, Rusty, Anthony and Shawna. From the day she was born, Cherri loved her family and would do anything she could to protect them. She didn’t care to see the world as much as she wanted to see the view from her own backyard. The creek was her go to place for fun, relaxing and being with the ones she loved. She was a talented and gifted artist when it came to arts and crafts and could do anything she set her mind to. She loved raising chickens and her garden was full of vegetables and flowers, but her elderberry bushes were a particular favorite and the jam she made from these were heavenly. She was a great cook, made the best Indian tacos, fry bread and desserts. Her heart was open to everyone, and her love knew no boundaries. From the family she loved to the stranger on the street, Cherri would go the extra mile to help you in any way she could. On September 25, 1999, she married Curtis Wayne Duncan, and together they shared 24 years of love, laughter and raised a family of four sons and one daughter, Brandon, Josh, Dustin, Brett and Kristin. Her world revolved around her kids and grandbabies, from watching them play sports and planning holidays and birthday parties to taking care of them whenever needed. A Christian by faith, Cherri was a member of Keener Baptist Church, and loved her church family like her own. She never missed a chance to serve where she was needed. The Lord called this Independent, loving, strong, beautiful, daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother home from her many labors on June 10th, 2023 in Tahlequah, OK. She was 51 years old and will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Evelyn Pritchett, her father, Frank Ransom Justice, her step-dad Webb Hall, and sister-in-law Nora Justice
