Charlene Blackbear was born on March 17th, 1958 in Claremore, OK, the daughter of Charles Curtis Bailey and Betty Mae Blackbear. She was raised in a household with six brothers and sisters, Rudy Wolfe, Darryl Blackbear, Jeffery Blackbear, Linda Chuckluck, Sherry Blackbear, and Tammy Noe. The family lived in the Vian area. When she finished school, she started a family and was the proud mother of two sons and three daughters, Kendall Colston, Barry Colston, Catrina Clifton, Kristi Chuckluck, and Minyon Colston, who passed away while very young. She was the proud stay at home wife, mother, grandmother, sister and daughter. She loved any chance she had to spend time with the family she loved. Her family was everything to Charlene, and she was always cooking, cleaning and making plans for them. She was a selfless human being and would give you the shirt off her back, heading out for her next shopping excursion and spending all her extra time and money on her children and 12 grandchildren. Charlene thought she had the smartest and most talented grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to tease and had an ornery streak. She could be stubborn but its only because she loved to see you smile, and wanted to make you feel at home. For all she had planned, Charlene passed from this life on November 23rd, 2024. She was 66 years old and leaves many family and friends, nieces, nephews and cousins to name a few.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, her mother and father, one daughter, Minyon Colston, two brothers, Darryl Blackbear and Jefferey Blackbear. She also leaves her two sisters, Linda Chuckluck and Sherry Blackbear.
