

Funeral services for Carma Lee Pritchett-Matlock will be held on Friday, April 22nd, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Reed-Culver Chapel with Pastor Jesse Deere from Boudinot Baptist Church and her nephew, Zack Hudson officiating. Visitation for Carma will be held Thursday, April 21st, 2016 from 1:00 PM until 6:00 Pm at Reed-Culver Chapel.
Honorary pallbearers for Carma include Mariah O’Field, BJ Buttercup O’Field, Brandilyn O’Field, Obadiah O’Field, Xzavier Pritchett, Maverick Dew, Zack Hudson and Memphis Kingfisher.
Carma Lee Matlock was born on November 8th, 1960 in Tahlequah, OK, the daughter of Willie and Emma Jean (Wolfe) Pritchett. She attended school and graduated from Hulbert, OK. Carma then attended college at NSU. In May of 1996, she married the love of her life, Glen Matlock. They enjoyed nine years together until Glen’s passing in 2005. Carma was a mother to three children, Lisa, Misty, and Eric, and grandma to 6 very special grandchildren. She loved any chance she had to share a pepsi and a zebra cake with her grandchildren. They spent time watching movies , and working crossword puzzles and encryptograms. Carma enjoyed writing in her journals, keeping family events in book form. She liked the occasional trip to the casino, reading her Bible, or just relaxing with her canine companion, Zoey. She liked to spend time with her nephew, Memphis. She was laid back, easy going, and very funny. She loved The Rollings Stone and Tom Petty. She said one day she was going to marry Mick Jagger. She had a way of making everyone around her smile. A Christian by faith, Carma attended the Boutinot Baptist Church. The Lord called her from her labors on Sunday, April 17th, 2016 at her home in Tahlequah, OK. She was 55 years old. Carma will be greatly missed.
Carma is preceded in death by her mom and dad, her husband, one sister, Mary Ellen Pritchett, and her stepmom Sharon Pritchett.
Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters and one son, Lisa O’Field and husband Brandon of Tahlequah, Misty Pritchett and companion Matthew Dew of Tahlequah, and Eric Chaffin and companion Sara Spencer of Tulsa, OK. She leaves three brothers and four sisters, Wanda Hudson of Jenks, OK, James Pritchett and wife Charlet of Westville, OK, Mike Pritchett and wife Debbie of Hulbert, OK, Paul Pritchett of Tahlequah, Sonya Pathkiller and husband James of Tahlequah, Ellen Kingfisher and husband Anthony of Tahlequah, and Tiffany Clopton and husband Rodney of Ft. Gibson, OK. Her legacy and love of life live on in her six grandchildren, Mariah O’Field, BJ O’Field, Brandilyn O’Field, Obadiah O’Field, Xzavier Pritchett, and Maverick Dew. She leaves a very special friend, Ricky Silk of Cookson, OK, and her nephew, Zack Hudson of Watauga, TX, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.
