Brian Dale Bird was born on February 22nd, 1979 in Tahlequah, OK, the son of Roger and Delaine (Franklin) Bird. He had two brothers and three sisters, Ryan Eugene Bird, Stormie Bird, Makayla Bird, Nancy Bird, and Skylor House. Brian grew up in the Tahlequah area, attending grade school in Shady Grove and Grandview. His high school education was done at Tahlequah and Sequoyah. When he was done with school, he started a family he always wanted. Brian was crazy about cars and sports, and had attained the title “All Round Ball Player” while at school. There was always music playing around Brian, he didn’t care if it was rock, country, Hip Hop, or Rap. Although he didn’t attend church regularly, he had a strong relationship with his God. He was the proud father of one son and three daughters, Brina Delaine, Joshua Michael Blaine, Caitlyn Garnett, and Ashlyn Breann, There was nothing that made him happier than making them something special to eat, and no one could out cook Dad when he made his famous weekend breakfast, his pizza and his fried chicken, (with the secret oatmeal coating) were all the best. He was always available to cut your hair and make you ready for the night out, and usually in the company of his canine companions, Luna the Pit Puppy and Meig the Yorkie. He fancied himself a fisherman, and like to try his hand at landing the big one, yet usually came home empty handed. Loved time spent with his Dad, his wife and kids, and all of his family. Brian was a talent with Nintendo, Playstation and was quite thrilled if he could impress you with one of his many inventions. He was a frequent shopper at the Bin Store, visiting up to 3 or 4 times a week and often arriving within 10 minutes of the store’s closing. Brian’s front door was open to you anytime, day or night, rain or shine, and his friendship and love was unconditional. He was funny, a one of a kind, stubborn, always available to give advice, but mostly, he loved the people in his life and just wanted to hear you laugh! Recently he had the privilege of becoming Granddad to his grandson, Matthias, his pride and joy. For all the adventures he had yet to explore, the story ended on February 24th, 2024 in Tahlequah, OK. Brian was 45 years old and has left a vacant space that no one else can fill.
Brian has gone home to his grandparents, Alfred Franklin Sr., Grandmother Betty Hair, Grandfather JB Bird and Grandmother Betty Bird.
