Becky McKey was born on January 13th 1942 at home in Shady Grove Oklahoma to father Josiah Oosahwee McKee and mother Emma (Carey) McKee. She passed from this life on November 4th 2020 in Tahlequah Oklahoma at age 78. Becky McKee or "granny keys" as she was so lovingly known to her grandchildren, was a lifelong resident of Hulbert. She was employed by Hulbert Public Schools as a cafeteria worker for 35 years. She retired for a short period of time and then decided to go back to work as a custodian at the school she loved so much. She made so many wonderful friends over the years working there. When she wasn't working she was enjoying quality time with her family. She also enjoyed doing word find puzzle books, taking spontaneous trips with family, reading magazines, watching old westerns, listening to her favorite music and watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren play the sports they loved to play. She was always their #1 biggest fan who was always cheering from the stands. During football season you could find her surrounded by family members gathered to watch their beloved Oklahoma football team OU. She was an amazing cook and was always trying new recipes. She enjoyed preparing big holiday feasts for her family and everyone was welcome. She had the most loving and giving heart. If she could help you in any way, she would. Becky McKey will be deeply missed by all the lives she has touched over the years.
