Margaret M. Woodard

Margaret M. Woodard passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2015, at the age of 76. She was born on August 29, 1938, in Midland, Texas to Robert and Nellie West. Margaret was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Taft. She was also a member of Gideon’s International Auxiliary and Taft Woman’s Club. Margaret loved to travel and made several tour trips with friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Woodard; parents; and great-grandson, Ashton.

Margaret will always be loved and remembered by her sons, Rex D. (Kathleen) Woodard of Portland, Texas and Kent (Joy) Woodard of Conroe, Texas; sister-in-law, Carley Salisbury of Odessa, Texas; grandchildren: Sean, James, Nicole, Brandon, Paula, J.B., Josh and Rachel; twelve great-grandchildren; and a host of friends.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, August 29, 2015, at 12:30 p.m., Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at The Palms Memorial Gardens, Portland.
