Ross M. Downing

Ross M. Downing, 23, of Manlius, passed away unexpectedly Sunday at home with his mom. My beloved “Ross Boss” I will love and miss you forever. Born in Syracuse, he was an Apprentice at Airside Tech HVAC for the past year. Ross was also a member of Local 58 Sheet Metal Workers. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Albert Goutremont.

Ross is survived by his mother, Denise Downing Capozzi of Manlius; step father, Michael J. Capozzi of Syracuse; his father, Stephen Downing of Syracuse; brother, Frank Patrick (Shannon) Crossman of East Syracuse; paternal grandparents, Ronald and Carol Butler of Arizona; maternal grandmother, Norma Goutremont of East Syracuse; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4-7 p.m. at Farone & Son Funeral Home, 1500 Park Street, Syracuse. Funeral services will be conducted Friday 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
