Ronnie Jerome Burley Sr.

Ronnie Jerome Burley, 51, of Syracuse went home to be with the lord with his family by his side Saturday. A lifelong resident of Syracuse, he was employed by Crouse and VA hospitals. He was a veteran of the US Army where he served as private first class; he was a member of southern missionary Baptist church.

Ronnie is survived by his wife Lonnie Burley, four daughters; Sontresha (Melvin), Nekiea (Howard), Tamika, Shari and Stepdaughter Brandy Colton. One son Ronnie Burley Jr. five brothers; Bobby of GA. Arthur (Doris), Benny, Todd (Corrine) Denson; three sisters Ruby of GA, Jenny and Brenda (Carl) and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur Sr. and Eleanor Burley and nephew, Rashawn Burley. He will be truly missed by all who knew him. Always loved and never forgotten.

Calling hours: Wednesday 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with funeral services to follow at SOUTHERN MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH, 3143 Midland Ave, Syracuse. Burial will follow in Onondaga Veterans Cemetery. Farone & Son Funeral Home has arrangements.
