Joseph Patrick Dowling, 66, of Clay, New York, passed away March 12, after a courageous battle with cancer. A Sprinkler Fitter until the time of his retirement, Joseph was a caring and hard-working man, who enjoyed family traditions, cooking for family and friends, and spending long hours in the warmth of the sun. Joseph was predeceased by his sisters Anne and Mary Lou.
Survivors include Joe’s beloved companion, Sherry Gates of Clay, NY; his daughter Laurel Dowling of Fayetteville, NY; his sister Louise Kucinski of Utica, NY; and his brother Frederick Dowling of Binghamton, NY.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 19, at Farone & Son Funeral Home at 1500 Park Street; Syracuse, New York.
