Jane (McCoy) Roemer

Jane McCoy Roemer, 78, of Baldwinsville, passed away Thursday after a long illness. A 34-year resident of central NY, Jane was a native of New Jersey where she attended St. Joseph School of Nursing and earned a B.S. in Health Education from Jersey City State College. She worked for many years as a nurse and health teacher at Manchester Regional H.S in Haledon, NJ. After moving to central NY, Jane and Herbert J. Greenwood, her partner of 28 years, owned and operated Executive Office Systems and supported many local organizations.

Jane is predeceased by Herb and leaves behind 3 children and their spouses, Michael and Beth Roemer of North Syracuse, NY, David and Dot Roemer of Galena, OH and Anne and Peter Kuczynski of Windham, NH as well as 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; brothers, Raymond X. McCoy of Paterson, NJ and Joseph (Mary) McCoy of Totowa Boro, NJ; sister, Mary Ann McCoy of Woodland, NJ.

Funeral services will be held Monday 11:00 A.M. at Farone and Son Funeral Home and 12 P.M. noon at St. Joseph the Worker Church, Liverpool, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Entombment will follow in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Clay. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-5 P.M. at the funeral home, 1500 Park Street.
