Helen DeMauro Perrone, 79, of Syracuse passed away Saturday. She was a life resident of Syracuse and graduated from North High School and CCBI. Mrs. Perrone was co-owner and operator with her husband of Perrone Plumbing from 1971 to 1990. She retired in 1990 when the business was sold. Helen was the Past President of the Daughters of Columbus, a former member of the Corinthian Club and a member of Lake Shore Yacht & Country Club. Predeceased by her sisters, Marie Brown and Jennie Case.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, John J. Perrone; daughters, Phyllis Perrone of Liverpool, Jennifer (Donald) Jenkins of Syracuse and Wappingers Falls and Laura (Robert) Carno of Liverpool; grandchildren, Anthony, Alessandra and Vincent Carno; sisters, Rose Triolo of Liverpool and Lee Ridley of Syracuse; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday 9:15 a.m. at Farone & Son Funeral Home and 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Pompei/ St. Peter Church. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, 1500 Park St.
