Gail, The memories I hold will always be the greatest. A beautiful lady with a heart as big as your smile. For the past 30+ years, not one single day has gone by that you, John, Trevor, Jules and Lois were not in my thoughts. I talked to you on the phone on tuesday, I was so excited we were going to get together. I guess we will get together another day. Your smile will live forever in my heart, as it has since the day we met!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ma, we had our ups, we had our downs, we had our smiles, and our frowns. We butted heads quite a bit, we went through all sorts of......STUFF! But in the end, our love was strong, we built an everlasting bond. Ma, I never knew I could love another woman like my own mother, but that's what you were, and I did. You will be missed dearly, but never forgotten. You will live on on in mine and many others hearts. So until until we meet again, I LOVE YOU!!!!

Gail, we became friends in the summer when we were both 15.you were very small with the cutest butt, and you were the coolest girl in high school, I felt so lucky to be your friend, as I was not very cool back then.you began your life with John and moved far away for a very long time.When you came back here to connecticut to be with your sisters, the years had taken a toll on you but you were still the same cool gail I met 40 years ago.you had a spirit and a drive that i can't describe.you were funny and didn't even know. We had a lot of laughs and I will always laugh when I think about those adventures..You had your own style, I think we all called it "gypsy"(with sparkles). "you can never have too many sparkles on" yes I agree..You are not going to be an easy one to forget and I promise I never will. This week I belive you finally got those wings you were always looking for and I hope they flew you to where you always wanted to be..

My dear sister gail, 

Growing up together thru the years, i always looked out for you and with that i knew you were always greatful. you were the cool one while i was the conservative one :) as i would always say to you, you were just like aunt fanny with all the jewlery and fringes-make-up and gypsy tendencies-a true zangeta. you always had an edge to your personality which allowed me to nickname you "Nine Lives". your move back from colorado, gave us the chance to reconnect and overcome the distance that was between us thru miles. as we grew older together we had the chance to create new memories that i will forever hold on to. every time i sit and get a pedi you will always be a thought within me. your daily phone calls to me will be missed dearly. no matter the distance and what you were doing, you always made it your business to contact me in the morning and that i will miss. i can still hear your voice saying to me "i love you sharon" before you'd hang up. im so greatful that you felt at peace in my home as you would say on a daily basis when staying with me. i thank god i had the opportunity to have you in the comfort of my home during your time of passing. be at peace with knowing, trev and julz both know my home and heart is always open to them, i know i cant replace you as their mother but i know i can look out for them as you would want me too. i will always love you and you will forever be in my heart "SHARON JAMES TO THE COURTESY DESK PLEASE, SHARON JAMES TO THE COURTESY DESK!!" Aunt Gail, 

Growing up it was hard for me to accpet that you moved to colorado with your immediate family, i had to grow to understand and accept your personal reasons why. i remember when i was a little girl and mommy would ask me what i wanted santa to bring me, and i'd say i wanted my cousins back from colorado. i missed you guys so much-you were a big part of my life growing up. you were my crazy aunt who was into the same things as me, making macaroni necklaces,doing arts n crafts, baking in the easy bake oven,buying star n moon decor, and drinking jack daniels and "jesus juice" lol you always took a party to another level haha and that i will never forget. i know your heart was always in colorado <3 but im glad you made your way back east, and allowed me to indulge in new memories with you thru out the yrs. i am so happy that you were able to meet my new family, i know how much you loved my little ali <3 she loved her great aunt gail too n plays with the toy you last gave her EVERYDAY!! Al really took a liking to you as you did him, and he is greatful that he had the chance to get to know you and create his own memories with you. i wish this day didnt come so soon as it has, but im at peace within knowing you are in a place without all the pain and discomfort. you were a true rebel, mother,sister and aunt n with that-you will forever live on in my heart <3  we will always love you-love Sherri, Al and Alimarie

Gail, I will never forget the good times we've had. You were so much fun to talk to about old times,and when we were kids playing records and dancing on the porch, and especially laughing at things Grandma used to say.  I am sure you're with her now. You were a great person, so giving and always putting everyone else first.  You never cared about material things, only people. You loved unconditionally and never judged a soul. You were a very special person and I am very lucky to have had you in my life. I will honor your memory forever, and I will miss you every day for the rest of my life.

Gail, You have always been like a mother to me.  Your unexpected passing has left me speechless and in disbelief.  I'm having a hard time accepting that you're really gone, it doesn't seem possible.  But as much as this hurts, I am able to find some comfort knowing you are free of all pain, and have joined John on the other side.  You have touched my life forever and I look forward to meeting you again.  Until then, I am grateful for all the memories and I will treasure them always!  I love you Gail, thank you for allowing me to be part of your life and making me feel like one of your own.

Julia, Vince, Trevor, & Family....She is gone, but will never be forgotton. So many happy, funny memories with your Mom. She loved you all so much. I will never forget her free spirit or how much she loved to be with family. Our prayers are with you all that you would find comfort knowing she is resting in the arms of Jesus.

To Trevor and Julia, I will never forget all the good times I had with your mom (and dad) over the years.  There are so many memories we have all shared which will remain dear to me forever. Julia, Vince, Trevor and families, I am so sorry to hear of Gails passing. I never had the honor of meeting your mom, but thru stories and comments left here, i feel i missed out on knowing an extraordinary person! I recall Julia talking about her mom with such love and adoration, it melted my heart to hear such tenderness and respect. Godspeed Gail, RIP. Love you all.   Words cannot convey how sorry we are at your mom's passing.  Too soon, too young.  We're grateful to have known her and had her as part of our family.  She was a "card".  I know thru Julia that she worked very hard keeping you together and providing for you when you were young.  Her work is now rewarded with rest & peace.  Again though, too soon, too young.
  Gail, we will do our best to look out for Julia but we can never replace you.

Dear Aunt Gail,
I miss you.I am crying a lot. My grandmother misses you too. I am really sad. Julia, Vince and Family, there never seems to be the right words at times like this.  I'm sure your mother would have found some anyway.  She always had a way of expressing herself even if it made no sense to anyone at the time.  We wish so much that we could be there with you, to say our goodbye, or rather, see you later.  We're so very thankful that we were able to spend even the little bit of time that we had with her.  She definitely enriched our lives as she has for so many.
