It is with great sadness that I learned of Dona's passing. I had the pleasure of working with her at Gillette Rd. Middle School and enjoyed bowling with her years ago as a teammate at Bowling Green Lanes. She was a wonderful person and will be missed dearly. Vinny and Family,  Please know that the entire family is in our thoughts and prayers.  Although we didn't see each other often, we knew we were always family.  God must have been in need of another angel and Dona was the one He chose.  We love you and know that although it is tough now, time will help heal the wounds.  Dona was a wonderful wife, mom, daughter, teacher and friend.

Dona was not only a great friend but a loving caring person who welcomed everyone into her home. My son Marc and all her kids friends were welcomed with open arms anytime day or night and especially at meal time. They also felt like it was their home. She loved them and they loved her. We had lots of fun and laughs at work where she also worked with kids that needed her all day. Her warm smile will be missed by everyone who crossed her path. I am deeply sorry for your loss. Not only was Dona a loving wife, mom, daughter and sister but she was also a wonderful friend. Her loss will be felt for many years because how she touched so many lives. I had the distinct pleasure of spending three of the most wonderful vacations with her and 7 other friends from our childhood. I feel blessed to have known her. When my Mom, Linda came to work at Gillette 10 years ago she and Dona became good friends quite quickly. I was happy she had meant someone she could enjoy so much and had such fun with. They shared many laughs and memorable times over the years with the "girls" at Gillette.  I will miss seeing Dona with Mom and they way they use to chuckle together over a family or school story.  She was a very kind and gentle spirit with a beautiful smile.  I am so sorry for the families loss.  Take care.
