Theresa A. Roccaro of Syosset and Southampton, New York, entered eternal life on November 22, 2021 at age 97. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Roccaro and loving mom to Elaine Litwack and Joseph Roccaro, Jr. Dear sister of Anna Cerra and Anthony Mancini and the late Thomas Mancini and Irene Santora. Doting grandmother to Cade Schreger and Isabel Roccaro, honorary grandparent to Cody Maher, and a uniquely special aunt to dozens of nieces and nephews.
Theresa graduated from Jamaica High School in 1942 and shortly thereafter took her first and only job as a bookkeeper with John E. Rosasco Creameries, later Rainbow Dairies, where she worked faithfully until her retirement more than 40 years later. The eldest of Tom and Fannie Mancini’s five children, she happily reigned as the matriarch of the Mancini clan for as long as anyone can remember. Family was everything to her and nothing made her happier than a large gathering surrounded by loved ones and great food. Her genuine goodness, positive energy, sound advice, and constant love will forever be remembered.
Visitations for Theresa will be held Sunday, November 28, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and again from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Beney Funeral Home, 79 Berry Hill Road, Syosset, New York 11791.
