Robert Edward McGuirk, 63, departed this life on February 26th, 2024 for his eternal home with his savior, Jesus Christ. Rob was an avid plantsman, who spent his days working in the landscaping industry. He took great pride in his work and had tremendous respect for the family of which he was employed. He spoke very highly of the team he worked with, referring to them fondly as his ‘work family.’ Our family would like to express our gratitude for the care, and concern shown by all of them and for the part they played in the recent days. They loved and cared about “Bob” (as he was known by them) and we share this loss with each of them.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, George E. and Roberta E. McGuirk, of Syosset, and grandparents, Robert and Marguerite Noble of Brooklyn, NY. He is survived by many cousins, and extended family & friends.
Funeral Service will be on Sunday, March 10, 2024 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m at Beney Funeral Home, 79 Berry Hill Rd, Syosset, NY 11791.
