Jon is survived by his loving wife Lynette (Lyn), brother Tom and wife Marina, sister Alison, stepsister Mary, preceded in death by his brother Bob, stepsiblings Bud and Dona. Jon is the proud uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Jon was raised in Sea Cliff and Glen Cove. He enjoyed sailing, golfing, singing and playing guitar. Jon enjoyed spending time with Lyn at their cabin in Vermont, and later, weekends in the Catskills. He also liked to spend winters in Florida.
Jon was a cherished friend and family member and will be deeply missed. Jon was an amazing friend, husband, brother, and uncle, and an all around good, decent, loving human being. Smart doesn't begin to describe him. He was a natural musical talent and a brilliant mind. His sense of humor will help to temper the sadness as we recall his beautiful voice and his quick witted jokes.
