Sylvania –Geneva "Neva" Gaulden Howard, age 83, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2017 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro. She was born in Mitchell County, GA to the late William Thomas & Gladys Qinell Parker Gaulden, was retired from Tri-County Real Estate where she worked as secretary and was a member Sylvania First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband: Cecil James Howard, Sr.

Survivors: Daughters and Sons-In-Law: Neva Patricia & Dale Johnson of Gordon, GA, Connie Susan & Paul Allen Ewing of Sylvania, and Catherine & Michael Horne of Jacksonville, FL (Step); Son and Daughter-In-Law: Cecil James, Jr. “Jimmy” & Deidra Howard of Macon, GA; Brother and Sister-In-Law: William T. “Tom” & Marion Gaulden of Rincon, GA; 9 Grandchildren; 19 Great-Grandchildren; Special Uncle and Aunt: Clarence & Katherine Parker of Douglasville, GA; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation: Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Charlie Cooper officiating. Burial following at Screven County Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Paul Ewing, Timothy Ewing, J.R. Ewing, Clay Best, Andy Odell and Branson King. Honorary Pallbearers: Elizabeth/Hilda Smith Sunday School Class of First Baptist Church and Clint Sheppard.
