David Ausier Ward

TAYLORS, SOUTH CAROLINA

Mr. David Ausier Ward, 76, of Taylors, SC, formerly of Sylvania, GA, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2019. He was born in Sylvania to the late Charlie and Sara Alice Forehand Ward and had lived in Taylors for the past several years. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Taylors and was a faithful follower of Christ. He was influential to many, both informally and as a lay minister in several churches. While in Screven County, he worked on his family's farm, Ward's Dairy.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anita Loftin Ward, and two brothers, Ronnie Ward and Clifton Ward.

Survivors include: his children, Katrina Ward, Suzanne (Chad) Ward, Jonathan (Jinna) Ward, and Philip (Heather) Ward, his grandchildren, Sara, Dakota, Kassidy, Caleb, Brody, Elliana, Payton, Jonna, Talon, Jaylee, Nikolay, Olga, Anastasia, Inna, Jacob and Adeline Ward, His siblings and their spouses, Barbara Wiggins, Wallace (Allie) Ward, Martha Norris, Wade Ward, Donna (Lloyd) Wiggins, Karen (Earl) Hulet, and Thomas (Jean) Ward. sister-in-law, Susie Ward, brother-in-law, Bob (Judy) Loftin, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:45 PM Friday at Faith Baptist Church, 500 West Lee Road, Taylors, SC to be followed by the funeral service at 3:00 PM.

A graveside service will be Saturday, January 19, 2019, at 11:00 AM in the McDonald Baptist Church Cemetery, 787 McDonald Road, Sylvania, GA. Visitation will follow the graveside service.
