Bonnie Carroll Friese Lyons, 41, of Midway, Georgia, died Saturday morning, May 18, 2013, at the Liberty County Regional Medical Center in Hinesville, Georgia.

She was born March 8, 1972, in Richmond County, Georgia and was the adopted daughter of William H. "Jud" and Eloise Brookins Friese.

Survivors include, her Husband, Michael Scott Lyons of Midway, Daughters Shana Dean Stanley and Kayla Christine Stanley both of Statesboro, Georgia, Her Biological Father, Ronald Simmons of Sylvania, Georgia, Sisters, Ahronda Mallard and Andrea Simmons both of Sylvania, A Brother, Allen Widener of Sylvania, Grandchildren, Gatlin Muns, Kirsten Shuman and Kase Shuman all of Statesboro. Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

A Graveside service for Mrs. Lyons will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at 3:00 P.M.at the Antioch Christian Church Cemetery, 1050 Antioch Church Road, Sylvania, GA with Rev. Cade Bazemore officiating.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from Noon until 2:15 P.M. at the funeral home.
