Willie "Bill" Gene Murphy

Willie is survived by his wife, Winnie "Gertrude" Murphy; sons, William Gregory Murphy (Cherlynn); and Dennis Blake Murphy (Beverly); 11 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Willie will be held Friday, September 8, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Curtis and Son Funeral Home, North Chapel, in Sylacauga. A funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM in the chapel. Burial to follow the service at Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at woundedwarriorproject.org.
