William "Bill" M. Taylor

Sylacauga, AL. - William "Bill" M. Taylor, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024.

Bill is survived by his wife of 58 years, Faye Taylor; son, Douglas "Bo" M. Taylor; daughter, Cynthia "Cindy" Taylor Entrekin (David); sister, Mary Carroll Payne; and two grandchildren, Dillon Taylor Entrekin and Gracie Taylor.

He was preceded in death by his father, Carroll Douglas Taylor and mother, Clara D. Taylor.

A visitation for Bill will be held Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home, 320 North Elm Avenue, Sylacauga, Alabama 35150, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Max Buttram officiating.

He will be laid to rest in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, 1501 Talladega Highway, Sylacauga, AL 35150.

Serving as pallbearers are David Entrekin, Michael McLaughlin, Charlie Myrick, Bret Cink, David Weathers and Brian Harris. Honorary pallbearers are Larry Pirkle, Jerry Crowe, and Donald Crowe.

Bill was a member of First Baptist Church of Oak Grove. He graduated from Hueytown High School class of 1959 and was a graduate of Auburn University School of Forestry. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and brother.
