Thomas A. Sims Sr.

Mr. Thomas A. Sims Sr. age 84 of Sylacauga passed away on January 28, 2012 at his residence. Funeral Services for Mr. Sims will be on Monday January 30, 2012 at Curtis and Son North Chapel at 2PM. Visitation will be on Monday January 30, 2012 from 12:30-2PM at the North Chapel. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Rev. Edward Green will be officiating the service. Survivors are his Daughter: Tonia Lipscomb and husband Tim of Rockford, Al. Sons; Thomas A. Sims Jr. of Pascagoula, MS., Mark Sims and wife Charlotte of Sylacauga and Robert C. Sims and Teresa of Sylacauga. Sister-in-Law: Jean Countryman of Prattville. Twelve Grandchildren and Eight Great Grandchildren. Mr. Sims was preceded in death by his wife; Betty Joyce Sims; Father and Mother; Robert and Viola Sims; Sisters; Georgia May Songer and Bobbie Jean Sims. He was retired from Kimberly-Clark after 33 years of service.Curtis and Son North Chapel will direct the service.
