Terry Adair BlankenshipRockford, AL - Funeral service for Terry Adair Blankenship, 62, will be Friday, December 27, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. Don Evans officiating.  Burial will be in Newsite Baptist Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.Mr. Blankenship died Monday, December 23, 2013 at Russell Medical Center in Alexander City, AL.  He was a Security Officer for Kimberly Clark for 24 years and worked for the Childersburg Police Department from 1971 until 1996.  He was a loving father and grandfather.  He was Baptist by faith.He is survived by his son, Jason Blankenship and Jerry Blankenship both of Fayetteville; daughter, Stephanie Ann Hayes of Fayetteville; brother, Bobby Blankenship of Weogufka; sisters, Mavis Pope of Rockford, Elizabeth Ann Opperman of Stewartville and Doris Poe of Oklahoma City, OK.Visitation will be Thursday, December 26, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.Pallbearers will be Shane Blankenship, Chandler Blankenship, Lane Hayes, Larry Blankenship, Wayne Payton, Josh Blankenship and Scottie Franklin Jones.Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.radneysmith.com.Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga, AL will direct the services.
