Shirley Ann Brooks

Shirley Ann Brooks, age 80 of Sylacauga, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 7, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Curtis and Son North Chapel with Rev. Mike Dankson and Rev. Wayne McDaniel officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Teresa Maddox; sons, Darrell Brooks and Chris Brooks (Penny); sisters, Emma Sue Harris and Glenda Jacks; brother, Benny Mitchell; grandchildren, Zach Brooks, Abby Bentley, Mollie Bentley, Tsali Brooks, Jack Poland, Jamie Maddox, Cassie Maddox Lassiter, Ashley Maddox and Heather Maddox; great-grandchildren, Colby Maddox, Dylon Maddox, Morgan Merritt, Gage Cleveland, Kennadi Merritt, Zach Cleveland, Serenity Robinson, Jona Germany, Jonathan Germany and Emali Germany; great-great grandchildren, Elle Maddox, Mazi Maddox and Kenzie Poland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald W. Brooks.
