Ruby Lee Cox

Childersburg, AL - Funeral service for Ruby Lee Cox, 84, will be Friday, October 6, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Childersburg with Rev. Amy Parsons-Vaughn officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery in Childersburg, AL.

Mrs. Cox died Monday, October 2, 2017 in Colorado Springs, CO. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Cox; son, John Stanley Cox; and sister, Ann Williamson.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Gaylon) McEntire of Childersburg and granddaughter, Leslie Vanessa McEntire of Colorado Springs, CO.

Visitation will be Friday, October 6, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Childersburg.

The family will be accepting flowers and or contributions may be made to the John W. Cox Scholarship Fund for Childersburg High School or The Shepherds Flock Emmaus Group at the First United Methodist Church in Childersburg.

Pallbearers will be Royce Warren, Doug Warren, Tut Wyatt, Brian Childers, Timmy Ward, Ronnie Martin, Gene Graham, and Dan Payant.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Kallenbach, Mallen Limbaugh, Ed Johnson, and Bill Hix.
