Robert E. Pruitt

Alpine, AL - Graveside service for Robert E. Pruitt, 71, will be Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 12:30 p.m. at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL. with Bro. Joe Teel officiating.

Mr. Pruitt died Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Mavis Pruitt, brother, Gary Pruitt, and favorite aunt, Edna Black. He was a proud veteran and loved his country.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Pruitt; son, Brian Pruitt; two daughters, Gena Hodges, Vicki (Todd) Morris; 9 grandchildren, Aaron Jackson, Tia Gentry, Carla Pruitt, Sarah Hodges, Katie Hodges, David Pruitt, Jessica Gibson, Hannah Pruitt, Ethan Morris; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Jerry Pruitt, Mack Pruitt; 1sister, Barbara House; a host of nieces and nephews; 4 step-grandchildren and 1 step great grandchild.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 22, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Todd Morris, Clayton Holmes, Aaron Jackson, Danny Gentry, Eric Merkel and David Pruitt.
